  Fantastic shop. Dave, Saskia, and the rest of the team are always welcoming and ready to help you out with what ever is needed. They are full of local knowledge and offer a wide range of the latest rental bikes, plus they've just opened a brand new shop with exclusive clothing from the local pros. Thanks so much for making my season in Girona that little bit easier!

  I am an experienced biker who travels around the world for years renting bikes in many location. Last week I arrived at the first time to Girona, Spain (great place for riders). I rented the most expensive premium bike they have equipped with disk brakes (Cannondale Synapse) . On my first day (afternoon) ride I noticed that the disk was twisted and I have to pedal against the brakes. As the store hours are limited I wasn't able to replace the bike prior to the next day ride (I did try to play with the wheel positioning without success). Getting to the store on the next day asking to fix the problem I said "I tried playing with the wheel with no success", the lady at the store told me "we prefer our customers don't play with our bikes". I answered "I prefer getting working bikes". Her answer was astonishing, instead of apology (not to say offer credit) she answered "maybe you prefer to pay us and rent somewhere else". I didn't have too much time for her so after the mechanics replaced the false disk I took the bike. On the day after I still had friction of the disk. Arrived at the store just at 7PM when the owner was still there. He acknowledged the problem but said "sorry, it is 7PM and we can't help you come tomorrow at 9:15AM". I didn't want to miss my next day ride so had another day with bad experience.

  Bottom line, paid premium got bottom. Run away, there are other stores where you get good bike and good service. Never again

  The rental bikes are really well maintained and I picked up some route maps for about €10 that were easy to follow.

  I had the most horrible rental experience in my life. Run Away! Bad equipment, bad attitude, bad people.

  Everyone at bike breaks was really friendly and welcoming as soon as I got Girona. The shop is fantastic with amazing staff who always went above and beyond and a really nice workshop. Everyone there was really knowledgeable about the best roads and routes and going out on rides with them was brilliant with really fun and friendly atmosphere all the way round.

  They offer a weekly shop ride on a Thursday, all abilities welcome as slower people (like me) go together and there were other groups for faster people. There was a pro riding too so you could go really fast if you were able! Everyone stopped for coffee together before the groups broke off.

  Fantastic bike shop. As a female I can't help but feel intimidated going into bike shops, well I need not have been afraid here! Dave and Saskia, the owners, really looked after me.
